Fr. Emmanuel Kahindo Kihugho A.A. is the CMA Patron of St. Monica Catholic Parish. Membership is drawn from men who are members of St. John The Baptist Katua Church who are commissioned. This is in line with the Archdiocese of Nairobi CMA formation rules. There are men from the church fraternity who are not commissioned but are progressively enrolled in the formation classes which are held from time to time.
CMA in Katua engages members in social welfare where members assist each other in times of bereavement, sickness, weddings, or other special circumstances. The CMA has also been vibrant in nurturing Beacon Boys, and has held various events and meetings to enable them learn, socialize and cope
with their environment appropriately.
The CMA encourages members to embrace the Sacrament of Marriage and has seen several Weddings celebrated over the years. Members who are yet to solemnize their marriages are always encouraged to do so. To enable men take up their rightful place in the family and society, CMA holds regular seminars at Outstation, Parish, Deanery and Archdiocese levels in line with the annual Archdiocese Calendar of Events.
